Portuguese alphabet and characters
The Portuguese alphabet should display only the following characters. If your document is not showing correctly, then first check that the encoding for that program and font supports Romance languages.

The Latin case system has been lost, but personal pronouns are still declined for subject, object of verb and object of preposition.

Should be capitalised
- People’s names.
- Geographical names (of countries, counties/states, cities etc.).
- Always follow the capitalization used in the English text.
