Mongolian alphabet and characters
In Mongolia, the Khalkha dialect, written in Cyrillic is predominant, while in Inner Mongolia, the language is written in the traditional Mongolian script.
Mongolian grammar rules
Mongolian is an agglutinative language, e.g. grammatical forms are created by adding various suffixes to fixed stems.
There i no grammatical gender. There are eight cases marked by suffixes: nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, locative, ablative, instrumental, and comitative. There is no definite article.
